Buddy Walk 2008 has now finished

Buddy Walk – Australia has grown into the first truly National event in celebration of people with Down syndrome - their contribution to Australian society, their talents and abilities. In 2008, Buddy Walk - Australia will involve more than 7 Walks across Australia and over 5000 participants:

BUDDY WALK – ADELAIDE (Sunday, 19th October)
Join us at Australia’s original Buddy Walk for a very pleasant 3 km walk around the Torrens River in which anyone can participate without special training.

BUDDY WALK - BRISBANE (Sunday, 12th October)
Join us for a leisurely walk and a picnic in New Farm Park

BUDDY WALK - NEWCASTLE (Sunday, 12th October)
Join us on the shores of Lake Macquarie for a relaxing walk to Speers Point for a picnic.

BUDDY WALK - PERTH (Sunday, 12th October)
Join us for a Walk from the Bell Tower (or Brewery for shorter route) to Matilda Bay, followed by a Family Fun Day with Bouncy Castle, Fire Engine, Animal Farm, music, dancing and much more.

BUDDY WALK - SYDNEY (Sunday, 19th October)
Meeting at Circular Quay we cross the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge to a beautiful harbourside picnic spot.

BUDDY WALK - WAGGA WAGGA (Sunday, 19th October)
Please join us for Wagga’s inaugural Buddy Walk.

BUDDY WALK IN THE 'GONG (Sunday, 12th October)
A relaxed walk along the foreshores of beautiful Wollongong Harbour to a picnic in Stuart Park.
